We want/need a dp m camera with interchangeble lenses....:bang:
It's obvious it is not going to happen any time soon... they released three fixed length lens models and are rumored to have a 4th coming...

Well-known
The design of the Foveon sensor is really the only digital camera technology that excites me as much as film (well, not quite). That and the Leica Monochrom. I may have to try this DP3, soon.
I'm a filmmaker, first, and I'm kind of disillusioned with all the modern digital video technology. But once 3-layer video sensors inevitably take hold, I may be a little more open to embracing all of this technology.

missing in action
I wanted to illustrate the new color mode and especially the new neutral, standard and vivid modes. With the SD1m and the DP2m, shooting in neutral mode was kind of mandatory. Using vivid mode was like using acid, and standard was a little bit too saturated to my taste. I never use the other modes.
Now, standard mode is just great, AWB is accurate, AF is as fast as the DP2m and I set my custom AF from 2 meters to infinity for fast action. For landscape, using vivid mode render gorgeous colors especially the greens.
is he saying standard mode still isn't great in the DP1M and DP2M?
