Some more info on the x20 plus x100 replacement may have focus peaking. I hope that means xp1 will have it soon

Excited about the X100s, but not because of peaking. I only go into manual focus when the X series' AF gets tricked by reflections. Hoping the X100s has more MP, faster AF, and larger, more robust controls on the back.

I want an exposure compensation control that does not easily shift:bang: since I use the ovf a lot... If it goes +2, that is hard to recover even in raw and I forget sometimes to check to c if it has shift on me...
Since I tend to not play w/ ec a lot, having a lock button would be nice. I know that if I go full manual, ec is disabled, but I like aperture priority.

Gary, good point. When I use a bag, this knob is often turned to a value I didn't expect.

The x10 is a beaut but it´s smallish sensor is not apealing to me....perhaps the x20 will have a more 4/3 like sensor that would be great!!!

Don't think it makes sense for the x20 to have a larger sensor, that's what the x100s is for.

too bad...i tou´re right...but i was wondering anyway the rx100 has a larger sensor it´s not fair
with xtrans, it might be competitive with a 1" sensor
It might, but curious why do you think these are an issue on the original X100?
We'll see soon enough, but if it's the same x100 sensor with the different color filter array, it should resolve a bit better. x100 lens is quite good, not sure how they could improve that.
