Hey Bill, I'd been wondering just recently about your absence from the forum. I'm
humbled and very pleased that you've done the very thing I've never been disciplined
enough to manage, and I offer heaps and loads of congratulations for your
accomplishment. I'm glad you're back.

paul,
are you aware that this thread is from last april?

Thanks, Joe. I was just getting ready to post, too. :bang:

BTW, was there ever a link to Bill's article?

Bill appears to have left for good. I can't find "bmattock" in the members list anymore.

Looking at the lasts of his posts, looks like "another exchange" episode.

I've revived the "I can lift heavy things" slogan. Really missed it.

I had noticed things were a bit calmer around here as of late. Though calmer doesn't always mean more interesting...

anyone who bad mouths bill will have to deal with me.

If you think that was 'bad mouthing' then you need to be a lot less sensitive. Maybe if Bill hadn't 'bad mouthed' so many people on this forum who have a positive attitude towards the future of film he wouldn't be seen in such a negative light. (no pun intended). You reap what you sow. Bill is reaping.

It seems Bill has moved on. He was already working on becoming more of a pro shooter and though I can't make out from his blog whether he's made the chance, I think he's working on it at the least.

That should make you think what you want from your photography. So many here crave the pro life but very few really take the step. If Bill can pull it of I'll admire him for that. Right now I can only be a little nvious that he's actually in a position to give it a try.

i like my sensitivity just where it is.

my intent was a warning shot only.
and if you look at his posts bill stated his opinions very strongly and had his argument in place. he did not bad mouth people.
perhaps it's your sensitivity level that needs adjusting?
