I'm starting a new support group. I'd recommend everyone at the forum join. Because everyone here are victims of this destructive lifestyle.

Contax G2 'Black' system,
Hasselblad 203fe,
Linhof Technika IV,
and an Alpa 12 SWA.

The last GAS I succumbed to was a Norita 66, that was 1 month ago and I have not bought anything since.

My name is Chris and I am craving a 6x7 camera. I am afraid that I will do anything to obtain one. As long as it isn't an RB67.

I have found the best cure for my latest GAS attacks - I told the wife what I want to buy and how much it costs.
The recovery was quick and dirty :bang:

The Summilux is a really sweet lens though, I can assure you.

Hi, I'm Tomas and I have GAS... 🙂

All in all I should be happy with what I got. But then again, I do have GAS... My latest buys (all since new year): a Crown Graphics 4x5 and an Angulon 90 mm lens to go with it. An Orion-15 28mm FSU LTM lens. A Canonet QL17 IIIG. That *should* keep me happy for a few weeks.

This is what my sick mind craves at the moment (it changes constantly):
Mamiya 7 II with a normal, a wide and a long lens - but I should be happy for my Super Ikonta IV when I want normal and portable and settle with dragging along my heavy Pentacon Six SLR and the 50/4 and super heavy 180/2.8 when I want to go wide or long and accept the extra bulk.

Zeiss Ikon RF and some ZM glass and maybe a Leica lens as well - but I should be happy with my old Contax IIIa instead and be glad for the money saved.

Leica IIIf or IIIg to go with my FSU LTM glass - but I should be happy with my FED 5b since it actually works.

Rolleiflex 2.8F with a Planar lens - but I should be happy with my Yashica and Zeiss Ikon tessar type TLRs if I'm after the TLR experience or with my Pentacon Six and the Biometar 80/2.8 lens if I just want a planar(ish) lens. I could even use the light shaft instead of the prisma if I want the worst of both worlds. 🙂

I have however stopped dreaming of a super-evil EOS 5D Mk 2 dslr. I like my cropped sensor EF-S 10-22 lens too much and the equivalent lenses for full frame from Canon don't seem to be better at all. No, when it comes to full frame digital, I'll dream about a Leica M9 and a full range of expesnive lenses. I'm not getting either, and just think how much more money the Leica dream is worth. I'm actually making (dream) money here... 🙂

Cya, got to surf eBay endlessly! I was wasting time shooting pictures all day long yesterday, who knows what nice new auctions might have come up since then... :bang:
 
I really admit that I´m infected since I was 10 y.o.
That´s why I´ve grown from four cameras during 2004 to more than thirty today.
I must admit too that I´m really happy having them for what they were designed to, it is taking photographs, and BTW it is what I want them for.
After buying three Voigtländer Vitomatic II (a couple of b´s and one CS) during the last two months (together with a couple of Olys Trip 35, a Baldessa and a Zenith ET), I must admit humbly that I´m really ill.
Didn´t stop sleeping for this... just knowing the wooden overcoat has no pockets.

I'd join, but it would probably make my condition worse, not better. You know, the way they don't allow parolees to hang out with their pre-prison pals?

When the M9 came out, I was indignant; $7000?!?!?!? Ridiculous!! In the space of less than four months, I've come to accept the price and have even calculated what I would need to sell to fund and M9. Lord help me.

On a (slightly) less expensive note, I am also lusting after a IIIG.

It'll never end. I guess what I'm saying is, "My name is Wesley and I have G.A.S"
 
My name is Mark and I'm craving a Nikon S2 with lens.

I pleased my wife by selling a few lenses I never use and she immediately put the money in savings. I keep looking at the money in the savings account ( a rare thing) and keep telling myself my 36 yr+ marriage is worth more than the Nikon.

I'm losing the argument.
 
I want a Bessa R2A and a 50 Summicron, also a 90/2.8 Sonnar for my G1, and a 4x5 system, and an RB67, and some Portra 160.. and if I got it all I'd only want more
 
My name is Wim, the recovery is slow but I am getting there, every day is another struggle.

All I have left is a Linhof Technikadan, 55mm grandagon, 75mm 4.5 Nikkor, 90mm 4.5 Grandagon, 135mm Sironar-s, 18Omm Sironar-s. Two Rolleiflex slx2 with 80 and 120mm.

Hey, I need a RF if I want to keep coming here!
