unbelievable!

i have 50 gmail invites.

i just checked my gmail and noticed my name was now black from red and wondered what that was about.
looking about i notice the 'you have 4 gmail invites' had changed to '50'.

needless to say...anyone want a gmail invite???

So how are these G-mail invites generated? Does your activity level trigger them? Do they just dole them out gradually so they're not overwhelmed by too many users at once? Is the invitation process just to make the service seem limited and desirable? 🙂

I even got 6 invitations with a GMail acount I'm not using except as an offline "hard drive", so I guess actual activity has little to do with it. But I don't work for GMail so I can't be certain.

Yeah Joe and BJ you both should get together and while you're at it, properly watch the BEST movie series of all time...

And here at work a couple guys are also sending gmail account give away emails, seems the usual give away switched from 6 or so to 50 ! 😱 Their email service is working far better than their last orkut invention though 😉
