G1 Aperture Priority

My first 'serious' camera, was a Pentax MV SLR back in 1981 and as such I took my first tentative steps in my photographic journey via aperture priority and so I find myself right at home with the Contax G1. Aperture priority seems very natural for me, on the other hand however I'm equally happy with manual overide. I think I'm going to enjoy this camera. Apart from all the technical stuff, sometimes I really fall for a camera beacuse of the way it looks and I must admit I find the G1 a stunningly beautifull camera, as I do my Rollei 35S. I handed the G1 to my wife and I mentioned how stunning the camera was and I got that 'yes dear if you say so look'

It is pretty. Even though I favor using G2 for most of my needs, and was thinking of getting another G2 instead of G1 which I have now as the back-up, I want to be able to look at G1 sometimes, it's so easy on the eyes...
