Maybe this will drive used bodies down to the $300 ish range soon?

Very nice deal on the G1 body. Now, it would be nice if Pani' would offer the G2 in a body-only option. Looking forward to the new offerings, whatever they might be.

an incredible deal. There were a couple of used 14-45 kit lens that sold for ~$250 on ebay, but I have a feeling that price is going to drop rather quickly.

I'm hoping the NEX drops by $100-$200 sometime this year, that would be great.

I think we can rule out a bigger sensor 😀

But, if the sensor specs for the G2 equal or better the GH1, people will be giving the G1 away, IMHO ...

I think you have m4/3 envy, Ted. For a guy who is down on the format, you sure hang out in the forum a LOT. 😉

You might be right Ray, I do already have my u4/3 to M, and u4/3 to LTM adapters all ready.

But... the longer I can find "issues" with u4/3, the better deal and later generation I will likely end up with. This is all backup stuff for the M8 anyways, unless there comes along some long lens solution which is a match made in heaven for u4/3 ...

I'm away this Sat., but will be down there a lot in Oct./Nov. - and time to burn my ~4 rolls of Kodachrome in the Hexar AF.

That is a terrific price for the G1, wow. I'm with Ray, I'd love to see a G2 body-only purchase option.

I was actually using my G1 a bit yesterday at a Concours, love having the live histogram in the best EVF out there. It really is a great little camera.
