G1 Raw - iso 3200

Ruben,
Do yourself a favor....
Don't get a E-P1.
You will hate the way the camera just weds to your hand...you will hate the IQ even at 3200 and then push to 6400....You will hate how easy it is to just make images and not think about anything but your vision, with no intrusion from a camera...
Don't get an E-P1......

The sense of your post is unclear. Would you mind to speak straightfowardly ?
Cheers,
Ruben

Sure.....
I've studied your images and it seems to me that the E-P1 would add a certain freedom in your work. Maybe the images would stay similar but that freedom could very well rest in your mind. Viewers may view your images as almost casual instances but they are not.
The Pen, in my opinion would add a certain freedom to your thinking...and bring in the results...
The reason I made the previous post was....once you get the Pen and get it going...you'll never want to let it go....and you'll more than likely forget even the names of your other cameras....

just a simple observation....that's all....

I think the G1 is an awesome little camera. I shoot stock and have had many images accepted into my agency that were taken with the G1. When I am not carrying my M8, the G1 with its 3 zooms, comprising a focal range of 14mm to 400mm (35mm equivalent). take up very little space and is easy on the shoulder and back. I can't say that about my Canon 5D and just 2 lenses. Great camera, but not a comfortable camera to walk around with.

Ditto for me on the G1. I now have the 3 lens set (why is it that one must shop world-wide to buy them instead of 1-stop shopping in the US is beyond me) and I carry it lightly and everywhere in a tiny canvas Nat Geo bag. It's the camera I automatically reach for when I go out. I haven't tried ISO 3200 on it, iso 1600 having sufficed for my needs, but I think I will now that I see what can be done with it. Has anyone tried Noise Ninja to see how well it cleans up ISO 3200 noise on the G1?

/T
