G10 and Leica

Just bought the G10 to supplement my film M's for some wedding work, mainly macro. Haven't played with it much, but impressed so far. Oh, and an 84Mb TIFF file from a p&s!

I'm curious to find how you get on with the optical viewfinder. I've seen reports that it's not very good, but the camera performance seems to please.

The finder sucks, but I've used mine with accessory brightline finders and that works well. Actually, I'm finally getting over the need for a "finder" and getting used to using the LCD for framing, something I thought would never happen. Even old dogs can learn new tricks, I guess. 😉

moderate to wide focal lengths it is fine. there really is enough mp's to crop what is included in the final image that doesn't show in the vf. it can also take an optical finder of course.
