G2 Issue - Front Section of 45mm Lens Loose?

My G2 has an issue.

The front section of the lens that extends when focusing and holds the front element is very loose and shakey. When I removed it from my bag tonight, one half of this extending section was actually able to detach from the rest of the lens.

Pushing it together seems to have helped 'reattach' this section, but it's still very shakey and makes a rattling sound when I lightly shake the camera.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I encountered the "looseness" in some CZ G lenses in the past. However, when the autofocus was activated, the lens "tightened". You should get it checked. I know ToCAd America in New Jersey fixes problems like that. I can't recommend them wholeheartedly because all my inquires about G2 I sent for service went unaanswered, 4 weeek s into the repair, and I know they got my camera from tracking. See if you can find some independent camera tech. that would undertake repair like that. Good luck.
