incredibly cheap ebay auction 50mm F5.6 lens + body + 65mm lens for 420 USD

Under http://cgi.ebay.de/FUJICA-GL-690-PR...ryZ15241QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem a novice ebayer (history of 1; even there is a negative feedback) lists a GL690 (GL !!!) with a 65 mm + 50mm lens but with no picture and no details apart from claiming mint condition.-)
He offers a Buy it now feature for 300 Euro / 420 USD
Those of you who speak spanish and are brave enough to dive into an adventure might appreciate this opportunity.

I do not claim this is a worthwhile opportunity nor do I have any commercial interest in this auction.

Walter, you must know better, but I have the feeling that prices of theses lenses are going steadily up, which is rather surprising these days that everybody seems to be chasing after digital gear.
Besides, I think I will have second thoughts each time I go out doing street shots with my kit.
Keep watching!

Regards and good shooting,

Fernando

After reading this thread, I'm trying to figure out if someone actually has a 50mm. If they do could you put up a couple of shots with it and say a 65mm or 100mm for comparison's sake?I'm trying to figure out if there is a significant difference between a 50 & 65 mm on a 6x9 image.

Hi Jan,

I just uploaded some pictures on my webpage for the purpose of comparing the results between 50, 65 and 100 mm lenses. ***Here*** is the link.

Hi Abbazz, thanks for the link and hard work. I'm surprised at the difference in FoV between the three lenses. Much greater than I anticipated. The move from 65 to 50 was more significant than I thought.

the info is much appreciated.

You are very welcome, Jan.

The difference between 50 and 65mm is not so surprising when you consider the equivalent focal lengths for 35mm: a 21mm lens gives you a much wider picture than a 28mm...
