The more I see Jorge's explanation of how the new gallery the more I like it. Looking forward to using the gallery because Flickr no longer does it for me.
I have implemented changes to likes and comments. This email went out to the members describing the changes. Hope this will provide RFF'ers with what they want.
With the ongoing contest on Zeissimages.com, the number of comments posted on photos have really been on the rise. Having said that, I am pleased to let you know Comment and Like navigation has been improved drastically.
You now have several options when viewing comments.
Selecting Comments from the top menu will now let you see comments by day, week, month, year and all comments. Furthermore, The comments display actual comments and not Likes intermingled with comments.
If you want to see just Likes, from the same menu you can select Likes for the day, week, month, year or all Likes. This will show you only photos with likes. You can rearrange them by the date liked or the number of likes. Furthermore, from the same screen, you can like, unlike, add to favorites or remove from favorites right there from the list displayed. The Likes listing shows you who last liked a photo, the number of like and the photographer.
I hope you find this information useful.
Thanks for the work on improvements, Jorge! I'd like to see ability to search on original file-name, which appears to be a current feature but doesn't work. And also would like ability to do a word search on Photo Notes field - Both of these searches would be very useful in locating one of my pics to insert in a thread discussion, for example.
Edit : And, "Lens Browser" is on the Gallery's menubar twice.
