Gallery details disappearing?

I recently started to organise my uploaded pictures into albums. But the camera/film/location details all seem to have disappeared. Is it not possible to keep these details in an album or have I done something stupid???? I find these details invaluable when looking at other people's work and would like to keep them with mine.

I also find I cannot edit the pictures in such a way as to put the details back, unlike non-album uploads.

I don't think the albums allow the details. Only the main members gallery.

I've just been entering the detail information in the text field.

this is correct, a software issue I believe.
