1 The 150kB limit is still causing problems getting photos small enough with suffcient quality. Some photos will compress, but others with a lot of tiny detail cannot be satisfactorily compressed this low.

2 Sometimes I upload a photo and I get the message telling me that it was successful but the photo never appears. So I need to upload it again.

It would be great if it was as easy to use and manage our galleries as it is to view them. I have had more problems in the past than present. I have not experienced too many detail issues, but a recent shot of mine showing tree carvings (tree art) is easier to see in larger format, so I can see where you are coming from Jon.

I make my traditional 35mm 3:2 format photos 720px x 480px and have problems getting the file size low enough.

Although the 'limit' is 150kB in fact anything up to about 200kB seems to be accepted. I have had photos of 225kB rejected.

I agree, the limit is too low and that has put me off posting some things recently.

Jon, I agree.

Yes, it is a little frustrating and a time waster. Often, PS will tell me an image is under 150k but I will discover that it is more than that — somehow more bits are added to the file along the way.

Even worse is trying to pare down avatars, but that is not as important.

I've also stopped posting to the gallery as like everyone else find it too frustrating have to resize and then resize again and still not make it...
