Gallery Picks 7 Days Prior to 10/23/06

One more selection:

Todd.Hanz, Cane I like the atmosphere in this picture.

Budgreen, After Bath I just like it. You know how to highlight parts of the body, like the legs, the feet (I can remember a beautiful shot of legs folded), here the back and neck; but in your photos, it's never ordinary, dull ... you create a kind of fascination. I should stop it now, it's better just to look at it.

Nachkebia, **** Simply beautiful.

Truando, Pool 2
Another painting ... it reminds me of Rothko's work, a painter I like a lot.

Nico, Back from shopping Classic, well done.

Stephen23, Lap Dog Tender and funny portrait.

krnt, Bridegroom on the run Pic of the week for me. Fantastic shot.

Raid, Old Part of Lucca, Italia A beautiful painting!

meatgrinder, Johnson Image 8 I liked the series; a lot of emotions in your work.

Anaanda, A Song

Thanks guys,

See you next week 😉

thank you Mark, Bill and Todd for including my photos on your lists. When I first saw this thread, I was inspired to try and make somebody's list. I also enjoy creating a list of my favorites. (not that you have to be on anybody's list as satisfing yourself is the most important thing but its also nice to get some encouragement once in a while. Some of my photos that are personal favorites didn't make anybodys list or receive any comments).. RFF is definitely making me strive to be the best photographer I can be...I believe rubbing shoulders with excellent photographers helps to make you one as well!!

First of all, as said Nico, thanks Ray for your job. As I have little spare time during the week, I regret I can't comment all the nice pictures submitted in the gallery; this thread is a good oppotunity to catch up 🙂

Thanks a lot Tuna, Nico, it's always nice to see that people notice and appreciate your pictures. I'm truly honoured.

Anaanda, you spoke for me as well. RFF is a win-win community 🙂
I'm in photography for 14 months (I started on sept 05); and I shoot RF cameras for almost a year (I received my first RF, a Zorki 4K on 11/2/05). RFF made me, say, a decent amateur photographer, I hope so at least 🙄

I really like the idea of awarding an "Alan Poe Prize" (Best Interpretation of Edgar Allen Poe); the "Misty Morning" deserves this award.

Bonne journée tout le monde, Have a good day where you are,

Marc
