Monday means sifting through the My Favorites folder. Here are my selections for the past week. Let's see yours!

Marc A's Girl at Eleven

Two from Myakish123:
Untitled
The Worker

Ausdlk's Vienna Lovers

foolproof's Lounge Poolbeg St.

thorirv's Walkabout

pstevenin's GR-D Street Photo

BudGreen's Dressed for Rain

Seems like this guy makes my list every week 😉
Todd's Shaft of Light

beramos' In Its Point

Here's one I first saw over on Flickr:
Sputty's Bus Station

Finally, my Pick of the Week:
Sirius' Cat in the Window

This is getting tougher and tougher! The quality of images has been really excellent. I honestly could easily doubled this list, but I purposefully try to limit my selections to 10 (I went to 12 today). Show us your picks so that some of these other fine images can get some additional clicks, comments and recognition. Thanks to everyone who posted to the gallery last week!

🙂

Some of what I liked in the galleries recently:
Jon Graham's "Peeking View"

mal's "Carnac Beach

stesm's "A09086_018"

samdj1210's "British Museum"

shodoman's "R3M Heliar Test 2"

edho's "Untitled #3

AL PAUK's "Dmitry Orlov"

nomade's "Endless"

Two by semrich: "At the Cafe"
and "Misty Mountains"

And(last but not least)jscolman's "BikeDoor"

I find all of these worth more than just a quick glance and hope other folks feel the smae way.
This thread(and it's predecessors) is making me spend more time in the galleries. And that's a god thing. Thanks to everybody for sharing their work!

Sorry to be a little late, but I'm just getting used to this feature after dropping back in a few weeks ago. Here's mine for the week:

KEH's Endsleigh St for a familiar view in great lighting.

AusDLK's Rainy Day Dog Walk for its Doineau meets Erwitt quirkiness.

foolproof's lounge_poolbeg_st for just a great composition

Todd Hanz's *** also simply for strong compostion.

Mike B's An Arm & a Leg again for channeling Doisneau and Erwitt. My POTW!

Thanks for picking one of my images. Splain me, though, Erwitt quirkiness.

In other words, how so? And Erwitt who?

Sorry to be oblique. I was referring to Elliott Erwitt , Magnum photographer and posessed of a wry eye. Your composition struck me in the way that many of his frames do. I love this guy's stuff. My interpretation may differ from yours of course...

Mark --

To be compared with Elliott Erwitt is a complement indeed.

Thanks.

I glanced at his site and see what you mean. I hope to be as funny (and successful) as he.
