Well being late to post "picks" does bump the thread a little bit. Here they are:

Carterofmars, I like the early morning light with a few lights on in the apartments, great colors and the tree branches in the composition adds the final special touch.

Savara, This shots makes me spend more time with it each time I try to figure out what's going on with what that guy is doing. Maybe trying to read over her shoulder?

Martini, I like this the best of all my picks this week, it has a melancholy nostalgic feeling to it on top of being an excellent night shot.

2 from Russ Brown, I'm in agreement with all that has been said already about this, though it seems a little out of context to see monks in ranks like army troops.

and other than the river this brings to mind a prison camp of some kind, a unique setting.

evanbaines, With this it feels like I'm there standing in line behind them. Can't get good Mexican food where I live, would sure like to have a taste of the fried avacado tortilla.

just started going to the pic 'o the week thread and just started posting again. it is a huge treat treat to see so many excellent images covering so many different subject types brilliantly made with so many types of film and digital techniques. i had so many favorites, i could not pick one without leaving another out...

i am pleasantly surprised to see my photograph associated with the many, many gems selected.
