Once again, here are my picks for the past week:

dave lacky, a unique and engaging portrait strengthened by its grain.

Tony Pio, an almost abstract sense of action and gaiety portrayed in this.

slantface, great light, composition, shadows, and the bright specks of light from the snow granules in the foreground are why I selected this.

benmacphoto, When I look at this I'm reminded of all the problems the Catholic church has had to deal with regarding pedophilic priests. A very intriguing shot.

Expatinprogress, I've returned to this many time to figure out why it appeals to me, and the best I can determine is the sense of community it conveys. That would all be lost if it weren't for the two hands and the shoe barely in the frame at the extreme left edge that adds tension and reason for the attention directed that way. Good color and background with the dog going by.
