tigerphil, thanks.

The best camera is one that still works!
smiffi ... I think I may have put this in last weeks by mistake. I can't remember! (sigh) Very good and somewhat Egglestonish IMO.
andens2 ... I like the approach with the use of direct paper exposure.
agricola ... you can do no more for her than this photograph IMO. Beautiful!
tigerphil ... striking image and perfect placement of the stark tree.
photony texas ... you are the maestro when it comes to these types of images. Great vision.
Frank V 2 ... Lolita, is that you? Great photo!
memphis ... Andy, is that you? Stood out in the gallery thumbnails for me!
pickett wilson ... simple and very eye catching. And well seen.
ferider ... I can't for the life of me work out why this got so little comment. It is such a moment and the framing and OOF are just perfect. She lights up this image with that smile ... did I mention how much I love the grain. This is my best of the week!

Thanks Luigi and Tigerphil!
Here's some photos that I really liked this week..
OurManInTangier - The Story of St Edmund. Wonderful! Simon's photo is my pick of the week.
MV72 - Noir et Blanc. Great tones and composition.
LeiceFoReVer - img519. Looks like an interesting story, of which we're just getting a glimpse. Nice composition, tones.
Martini - Untitiled. Surreal. I really like the lighting ratio.
Frank Version Two - KT. Dripping sensuality. The photos of KT and Chris were equally good.
brovler - 924. Such a serious expression. A bit out of the ordinary for a child portrait.
Robklurfield - Dracula. Interesting character, nice framing. Worth the price of a coffee.
Steve Kessel - Alex, hairdresser. What an interesting character portrait.
Peter^ - Road 2. A simple and effective composition with good depth. I like the shadows on the road and the tonality.
RayPA - untitled. A great grab shot.
