Gallery Picks for the week ending 31st Oct 2011

Anyone notice that these are all (almost) BW's?

You're right. That doesn't feel right. Let me add one of Martini's wonderful long exposures ("Untitled"):

What's wrong with BWs? I feel BW is a lot more expressive for certain kind of shots, and BW processing gives a lot more freedom to realize one's subjective vision ...

And now to another important thing:

My humble thank you's for mentioning my pictures go to (inhale) Todd.hanz, ferider, kyte, Leica M2 fan, Jay Decker (2x), Barnwulf, Rogrund, and Paulfish4570 (2x)! I feel very much honored ...

They say a picture is worth more than a thousand words, this one has enough in it to fill a novel.

I also liked:

Paul, nice use of negative space, enough texture to make interesting

Semrich I don't know how he does it, nor what it is that gets my attention, but Richard's dark street shots always seem to draw me in.

Collum. Reminds me of my own childhood

Filmfan, I like dreary weather, wind, rain and wind all at once. It makes you feel alive. The scenery isn't half bad either.
