i didn't have a chance to go through the gallery this week
what i like in the thread above:
photony texas. for the glorious color and pretty shapes.
tuna. fantastic. my photo of the week (albeit from a small sample). puts you right in a dark room, full of pretty motion and music. superb composition.
luiman. i put this in the random gallery thread this week. it's a real photograph. moment. subject. light. framing. texture.
kiev ilegelac. i realize that this is probably the first of kiev's i've put up in this thread. it's not for want of admiration of his photos. this one is particularly lovely; the shapes and tones made a big impression on me. plus, the subject is adorable. the facial detail is fantastic.
thanks to harry, luigi and greg

Late this week, still have picks, here we go:
Tuna, frame within a frame within a frame within a frame, and a moment surrounded by textured brick.
Pete Chipman, just great ! The low angle of the light is perfect.
divewizard, cool !! How would they go about making a digital one?
2 from astro8,
great pose and portrait.
ahh, the R-D1 a hidden gem. Aside from file size it stands toe to toe with the M8 versions and the M9 in both color and B&W.
This shot is evidence of that. Very beautiful and well done.
Carole Dame, everything is in it's place in this, it pleases the eye.
Mlehrman, he boots are almost bigger then her! I like the composition and dark tonality, it's fitting with those clawed hands on the pedestal.
taylan, selling water and things where Ataturk watches over the dump trucks.
LIIca, the tilt on the tram and the girls trailing arm are enough to make it pop for me.
lynnb, the sum of the parts is greater than the whole, the third has a big part in it.
