I've been away from this thread for a while. Thanks so much for including some of my photos in this thread. I always appreciate it when people like my photos.
Pictures already mentioned that I liked a lot:
Swift1's pinhole picture of the locomotive, for its colour, and because it's such an excellent pinhole picture;
16mm's excellent wet plate portrait, both for the quality of the portrait, and the process;
Dotur (Ivan's) reflective picture of the rain-soaked public square, for its light, lines and reflections;
fotorees's sensuous sleeping nude, with its beautifully rendered skin tones and contours;
Anu L Ogy's high contrast picture of the girl on the sofa hiding from the camera, for its youthful vitality and humour;
News Shooter's photo of the historic room, for its lovely light and gentle colour palette in sympathy with the subject;
tigerphil's church pews for the luxurious soft light reflected off polished timber, and nice composition;
bushwick1234's picture of misty trees in Central Park, for its delicate beauty, mood and tones;
Luigi's Night has a Thousand Eyes series picture for its mystery and composition;
Huub's cyclist crossing the bridge in fog with the tree in foreground, for its mystery, mood and composition, brought to life with motion blur;
the classic beauty of Rogrund's simple chair and table in front of the curtained window;
..and I agree with Paul about Maiku's photos this past week.
So much to admire in the Gallery!
Regards,
