Slava's beautiful mirror shot (and what beautiful grain)
Huubl's winter landscape
Chris's atmospheric evening rural scene
Jim's 5 images in one
Johan's wonderful late pregnancy photo
Paul's excellent street shot

a second pick for Alex (Kiev Ilegelac). I've admired Alex's ability to capture such excellent portraits and candid cafe photos.

A second pick of this capture by Luigi - Anna Laura. We have intruded into their world and been challenged with a serious direct gaze.
Wiggle-yo-butt2921 by Icebear. This made me laugh out loud:
'...The 4 were in festive mood before X-mas and trying to catch a cab. So the ladies started wiggeling their behinds in front of the ICP - indeed ONLY in NYC.'
Michael's (Mlehrman) Vietnam war protest, 1970-1971
A Boy Jumps by zipstermix
Richard G's delicate picture of the garden bench seat
Chris000's dreamy landscape Savernake Forest 3

hteasley's gorgeous colour shot of Sadie. So much mischievous humour in her young eyes.
Gho's excellent colour work
Siracusa's Paperchain. This had me mystified, but I liked it as an abstract composition
another pick from Brainwood: Entangled.
gshybrid's Musician and his Muse - excellent street shot

Doomster's Hogsmeade Village. Great expression, excellent bw
another beautiful bw from Rob, Frost Bound Wood No. 1
There's been a lot of photos posted that I really liked in the past week. There are always photos posted in this thread that I missed or failed to appreciate from the thumbnails. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to post here each week; and thank you to the kind people who have mentioned my work. I very much appreciate the mentions.
All the best to everyone for 2013!

I am so glad I discovered these threads, they are my favorite threads to look through on RFF! Thanks so much lynnb and leica M2 fan for the mentions; it is strange to see my photos next to so many amazing ones.
Now I will try to participate. There were a lot of pictures I loved this week; I will try to post the ones no one has mentioned yet, and then maybe go back and post some of the previously mentioned ones.
varjag, Olav Kyrres gt. This picture captures the emotion on their faces so well:
cjm, 18 weeks. Great light, beautiful subject, beautiful portrait:
danielbelenguer, people going to work at dawn. Essaouira. This picture manages to bring across the tranquil pre-dawn feeling of a quiet city along with the gorgeous sky. I am really loving his Morocco pictures:
