Thank-you biomed - certainly didn't expect 'Coming-in?' to rate in the Gallery Pics of the Week. This is a photo I discarded and 'found' again looking for something else. It was taken this September in Inverness, Scotland - just happened to look into this doorway as I was walking past camera in hand - had a bit of a problem with the doors.

I had to smile at this. I realise there must be times taking photographs that I provide entertainment for others.
I thought this one was best viewed in large size. The small version doesn't do the tones and grain justice.

To me this references traditional landscape painting more than photography. The other photos in Chris's series may better showcase nature's beauty and colour, but the light, mood, subtle shadow detail, and cool shadow colour with touches of warmth made this my favourite.
