my favourite picture this week was Crazy Fedya's wonderful portrait
Jim seems to have stumbled upon a rare breeding colony of TV sets. This really appealed to my sense of humour.
TV 1 © 2015 Barnwulf
I love aviation pictures and biomed's dramatic picture of startup got my appreciation:
Untitled - Photo 240439 © 2015 Biomed
Isorgb's very touching, emotional photo of children in hospital
Untitled - Photo 240427 © 2015 Isorgb
Simon's great multi-layered photo was also one of my favourites this week
Bus Stop & Bank © 2015 Ourmanintangier
What I liked about Kaniel's photo was how it looks like a series of still frames in pano format mounted on a wall, perhaps frames of a movie - the people in each frame unaware they are there for the viewing entertainment of those on the foreground platform:

I liked both of Aapov's pictures in this series, it was hard to pick a favourite
Minimalism © 2015 Aapov27
I have admiration for 16mm's wet plate photography. A few RFF members have mastered these processes and the results are always impressive.
Lilou 2 © 2015 16mm
I liked Ivan's reflections
Ilica © 2015 Dotur
Nice framing idea and outrageously cute from Isorgb
Untitled - Photo 240344 © 2015 Isorgb
and this emotional picture also from Isorgb
Am I looking at a print, or out a window? That's what I liked about this.. and the nice Merrill tones, of course. The large size is worth a look.

I agree with earlier comments, Phil's marsh grass is beautiful

I had to look at Google translate to understand the sign below, which seems to say "The New Order of the Ages". That puts the No Comment graffiti in a more powerful context - we are now in an age where free speech is under threat - No Comment really is the new order of the ages.

I liked the feeling of menace, and the colour in this photo by Ross
Untitled - Photo 240534 © 2015 News Shooter
Raid's luscious, painterly photo of his muse
More Angenieux © 2015 Raid
Elmarman's caught a wonderful expression in this Isolette III photo (and a fitting camera for the style and period of the picture)
The Big Hit ! © 2015 Elmarman
Jelico's joyful picture of his dog Ghyle participating in a shooting session. Ghyle is, of course, smiling for the camera as he steals the show
Ghyle © 2015 Jelico
I apologise for posting the larger size in this thread, but this really has to be seen large to appreciate. Tones are superb. Note the dog and the person. Click on this image twice to see the largest size:
Cape Blanco © 2015 Rhl-oregon
Mike's beautiful, moody night photo, complete with old glory
9th Precinct © 2015 Mlehrman
In a similar genre, Phil's Craggyscape, the trees the perfect foil for the architecture.
Craggyscape,'14 © 2015 Tigerphil
action zooming through the frame in both directions against a static background. Composition works great.

Lynnb - P1040632: Nice tight shot.
Ourmanintangier - Bus Stop & Bank: great expression on the subject and nice story about how the shot came together
Isorgb - Untitled: Love the contrast between the punchy red and the cool tones around it
Doug - In the bushes: Well seen and executed. A subtle image.
