Thanks to all who mentioned my photos!
Its interesting that the chosen photos always are different from those I would consider as my best.
From the mass of good photographs this week I picked these:
••Skid Row from Hermann Abdullah: The aesthetics of a catastrophe in a perfect color composition!
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=78304&cat=fav
••The art to make containers art by OurManInTangier.
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=78286&cat=fav
••Abandoned by lamarv916: I like the surrealistic touch and the great tones
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=78272&cat=fav
••Exit by kbg32: A life shot as it should be: Feels as if I was climbing behind them.
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=78257&cat=fav
••Leitao and Sandra and Artur likes to dress up by ClaremontPhoto:
What to say? Great series, seems to become better and better!
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=78109&cat=fav
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=78211&cat=fav
••Convergence by sinetsin: Finding such a subject is a gift, but for framing it in this way one must have the eye!
Too many beautiful photos ...

Our own "Celebrity Snapper":
Leitao and Sandra - Humour and humanity. My eye just drifts there, I can't help it!
Lisbon to Dakar - Happenstance, or patient waiting Jon? Either way its a winner.
This series just gets better and better. How do you manage to see through the view-finder with that permanent twinkle in your eye?

Pitxu, thanks for mentioning.
If I had to pick one most striking image from last week, that would be Time To Move On by adonf.

Petronius: img884 - The colour makes this for me. Another good spot by an artist who can pick up on the extraordinary amidst the mundane.
Shac: Putting On Socks - Touching, tender, great grey tones... and what eye contact!
rxmd: Tango - Music and movement. The graininess of this adds so much.
..and finally for this week......
lZr: Downtown Moment - This is a truly awe inspiring image, I love it.

Thank you for the mentions.
Leitao and Sandra - His eye just drifts there too.
Lisbon to Dakar - I was in the right place at the right time. Actually I'd gone to photograph the rally cars which were due to pass. But the rally was cancelled at the last minute, and this guy on a bike came by instead.
Thank you for your comment about the series. I'm enjoying the recent 'people' photos more and more rather than the earlier 'grotty wall' photos.

Important documentary picture reminding me of a world I would rather like to forget while I shouldn't. I do not know how the photographer achieved any access at all to the surroundings, but I assume his field of manoeuvre was rather narrow, and nevertheless he came out with a well composed picture.

Ruben, I totally agree, to me it looked like a fossil of a reptile, maybe a Gecko?ruben said:The center figure open to imagination of the viewer
I thought it was a smashing snap, but I have nominated so many this week that I had to draw the line somewhere!

A bench, a lot of sand, and a tiny ship.
Thanks Jon, I'll take the old Serenar out more often.
BTW, how did you manage to attach a pic from the gallery?
