I enjoy seeing Mike's eye at work. I've never been to Coney Island but this seems to capture part of that experience from what I've read and seen. What I like about this is the pattern of line and shadow, and the story of a successful catch. All that's missing from this picture is a cat

I follow Photony Texas's work with great interest. Always creative and interesting. The similarity of this work with that of a certain famous Spanish artist is quite strong.

Richard's often subtle photographs also appeal to me. In this photograph a traditional street photographer captures the new generation, along with the ubiquitous surveillance cameras in the background. She looks very comfortable with that camera. I wondered if she noticed Richard or recognised the vintage Leica II and 5cm f3.5 Elmar he was using to take this photo. He says she didn't even notice him. And that's totally, wonderfully appropriate and cool.
The bonus is the vintage Rover 90 parked at the kerb.

jcrutcher's photo looks like a set from a science fiction movie. This could be the bridge deck of a grounded star cruiser.

I really like the graphic design of this photo, in both colour and in light/shade. I kept coming back for more looks. It's interesting how much that small patch of yellow draws attention.

I would love to browse through Lawrence's archives, I suspect I'd find a treasure trove of icons from music history from at least the 1960s to the present. Here's a great portrait of Andy Summers from The Police.

Tom Niblick posted an impressive series of wave shots from near his home in Hawaii. However this dramatic lava hole swallowing up the cascading waves over the rocks was my favourite. Great job with the processing too.
