Well I'm sure I'll wear out my welcome here with the rather large number posted, but I think I showed great restraint considering how many good pictures there were in the gallery this past week.

by Stefanjozef - wonderful expression and use of spotlighting to set the scene for an unfolding drama of confrontation.

by Tigerphil - works really well as an exercise in shape and tone, but is just pleasing as hell too.

by Biomed - hard to get shots like this to work, and this works seriously well.

by Chris Bail - evocative night photo thanks largely to the puddles and lights - great in black and white.

by Maiku - very Koudelka in its bleak look at a post-industrial landscape, very very nicely done.

by Angelog. A nice bit of visual puzzle, great colors, lots of separate boxes of interest and overall very pleasing.

by Keith - effortless composition against a beautiful foggy backdrop of rich greys - simple yet stunning.

by Richard G. Red! What more needs be said! Perfectly set off against a more drab ground.

by Jky - Simply fun, stunning colours , great picture design - just incredibly wonderful. And did I say FUN.

by Mudride - a complex image of the simplest of all stories. This invites the viewer to ponder the question of love - no mean feat.

by LynnB. Iconic and powerful - a truly wondrous seascape.

by 16mm. What can I say? This is STUNNING. Perfect marriage of form and content.

by rhl oregon. Masterful combination of social landscape and environmental portrait. A picture to ponder at length.

by Jamie Pillers. This is well wicked innit. I reckon Lee Friedlander would be rapt with this if he did color! Brilliant.

by Richard Berter - you can't look at a picture as good as this without pondering WHY those eyes and that expression!

by Crsantin. Disparate elements elegantly brought together and a satisfying range of tones. Fabulous beach shot.

by Raindog61. A very nicely studied arrangement of shapes and textures which adds up to a most pleasing composition in b&w.

by Brad Bireley - colrs that jump off the screen at you and then do your head in a bit. Effective and a tad unsettling.
