What's happening with this thread? Why are so few people participating? I will put my picks on later today. - jim

Can't speak for anyone else. But I spent way too much time in the forum arguments (I mean discussions) last few weeks about honest critiques and whatever.
And, as for making new pictures . . . . this is THE ugliest season of the year where I am. Driving is bad, no place to park. Can't hike without snowshoes. Trains in the city are down.
Feb&Mar just suck.

I know that there is only so much time people can spend here. Winter is the worst time for me to get out and photograph too, but I try to put on a few of my picks from other photographers when I can even if I don't have any new photos in the gallery. I understand that the new street threads take time even to read through. I just hate to see this Gallery Picks thread fade away. - jim

thanks Jim. I've had a lot on my plate recently and haven't been contributing regularly to this thread. It would be a great shame to see it fade away, but perhaps there is a seasonal factor as mentioned above.

I can't seem to figure out how to search the gallery by date. I can easily find the week or two week search function, but that does me no good when I want to do my picks of the week on a day other than Monday.

I display the last 2 weeks, and then work off the picture upload dates falling within the range of the Gallery Picks week..
