I am going to try to post favorites without looking at names. I wonder if some of us have biases towards people with whom we are familiar (or who compliment our own images)? I suspect it's hard to avoid. I also suspect that I am guilty.

thanks very much for the mentions (and Keith, for the kind words) - much appreciated!
Rob - harder than you think, as you know instantly who took some photos without having to look at the name. More than a few members have a distinctive visual signature. But I suspect I'm guilty as well, although I try hard not to be.

Angelog, thanks for sharing your story, and reminding us that our images can have the power to connect, to stir and motivate, and inspire us all. Praying for your sons recovery.

I've come to the conclusion that discussion stimulates activity because 'gallery picks' this week will likely top 100 posts.
I was feeling rather guilty for stirring the pot regarding uploading limits because obviously it didn't suit everyone ... but I also remember weeks (a long time ago) when 'gallery picks' struggled to get twenty posts and I actually remember a week of eleven.
Long live photography and long live RFF ... Jon would be proud of us, as would Pitxu.
