for me
mudride. brooding, immediate, a little bit hidden behind some hair, wild eyes, calm around. really like this.
rogrund. a wee bit old-timey, very nice just before golden hour picture. cool weather, a little mud on the ground.
lynnb. i could have put the whole series up here, every one is fantastic. it might be the strongest series i can remember seeing here. i most liked these two.
this one, where everything is about their eyes, his squint and her peek out from under the hair, the two open ones in the center. fantastic.
and this one with the perfect facial lighting and the great beige tones. skin, dress, sand, sky.
eddie con. i love going to asia, and i love getting out at night. here, i can just smell the tropic evening. also, wtf is he doing relaxing out in the street WITH ALL THE CARS COMING AT HIM? wow. i like how calm his side of the photo is, and how busy the other guy is.
nikonsnapper. fun, intimate, immediate and unexpected.
mlehrman. so much to like here. her strong pose against his relaxed one. the tones on her leg and face. her sharp features and the wild hair of the obscured woman. one of the other commenters said the figures had attic grace. i agree.
bwcolor. for the curve that runs from her feet along her side and shoulder and then over the top of her head, spilling down in hair. bonus points for multiple lines and textures on the way. really gorgeous
photony texas. my photo of the week. set poses don't usually do much for me, and recreated poses? pfft. ech. uch. but this is really a wonderfully exposed, richly textured photo. you get fabric, eyes and freckles, a little hair, lustrous whites and deep blacks. take a bow.
