Well I found out about this thread only now, and wow, must thank to all of you who liked my photos. It seems that the dog chorus pic was appreciated the most. It’s a photo with story about dogs living on a construction site near lake, but they don’t like to pose. Thanks again.

Woo hoo ... fifty six posts this week ... the spirit of Pitxu lives on!
Actually the person I associate with "Gallery Picks" the most is Jon Claremont, who single-handedly ran these threads for years even when next to nobody was commenting.

thanks for the mentions. I am completely behind in looking at the gallery recently, so in the next week or two I need to get back into the flow of looking at all of the wonderful work that so many of you contribute each week AND I need to get back in the habit of sharing my choices here. I am always flattered to find anything of mine among so many fine images from so many talented artists.

I have to agree, Jon was the man! But huge thanks to Richard J, Keith, Rob and everyone who contributes each week by posting photos or comments, that's what keeps the Gallery active and vibrant.
