I've got picks:
Rimidal Rezole, I like the composition and story that goes along with the ripples in the sand and water. Great colors.
SciAggie, Ford should have a look at this, vintage plane and retro car nicely composed and presented in monochrome.
Swann, Excellent light in this, very evident on that small building to the right of the frame and the snow along the fence line.
cfritze, I must have been in a car mood last week, I think this wouldn't have been anyway near as good if the whole back
StefanJozef, I like this, it makes me think of Batman looking down from a roof at the action below. Nice moment and tones.
taskoni, My top favorite for the week. Very dreamlike, I like it. It makes me curious about the circumstances of your taking it.

Thank you for the mention Paul and Johan.
Very encouraging as it was first time for me with the GRD.
I`s been a hectic week and I haven`t been able to keep abreast of the gallery but GHO R290-05 ,Vince Lupo and the lovely portrait Chambrenoire caught my eye.
Still the most outstanding thread any where on the net in my opinion.

Thanks for the mention semrich. That was a fun shoot. The best compliment I got from friends was, "You took that?"

Thank you semrich for showing and liking my photo.
I was scouting this forest on a first light when I saw this woman who appeared out of nowhere. I was not prepared for taking picture but as usual my leica was in my hand even it was first light. I shot while walking and managed to change the speed to 1/4 of a sec.- tough job on leica III. I never concerned this shot as a keeper but while bored at home I decided to enlarge it and to experiment with it and here it is. From now on I'll never drop a shot

I'm late into this thread this week, thank you Harry, Marc, functus, Paul, Phil, Jim and dof for mentioning my photo, I really appreciate it!
Here's the photos I liked most during the week:
StefanJosef - wd. for its composition, light and shadows, particularly the person in the centre.
in the last week porktaco posted two very interesting portraits that permit a glance into the private world of childhood.
porktaco - second hike 2. A very personal connection between subject and viewer.
porktaco - early april 2. caught the child's daydreamy faraway look perfectly, and the lighting, focus and bokeh are very nice.
Brainwood - Bluebells 2. Simply beautiful, including the dof
buzzardkid - Young Guns. for such an interesting study of youth and the excellent composition - and title
sleepyhead - such a beautiful, timeless child portrait. The plane of focus, dof and tonality make this lovely to look at.
gho - as much a photo of her energy as of herself. Something is happening - this leaves us guessing
rogerzilla - Pond. lovely portrait, and the background and dof work well.
Vince Lupo - untitled. The sense of scale, the look on the upper boy's face, the machine like spacing of the people, the contrast between the upper and lower boys, the massive neutral background bringing the people into sharp focus

More photos that caught my eye and really liked...
shadowfox - Summer Begin. The everyday scene, the light, the movement, it all has the feel of summer.
paulfish4570 - power. With all the horrible devastation on the news sites this interesting composition shows how Nature's power overwhelms man's power, in an understated, perhaps more comprehensible way
rdeleskie - Fog 3. I liked the series, but the running dog just makes this one the best IMHO
jbielekowski - Kate XI. The graphic qualities caught my attention - the ponytail looks almost as if it's a piece of sky being mixed with her hair and pouring out through her hair band. I like the composition and tones in this too.
chambrenoire - Renate wearing my hat. You can see her feelings in her eyes. How romantic!
Michael Markey - Royal Wedding. This captures the excitement and spirit of the day, and four pretty girls as well - a guaranteed winning formula!
Peter^ - rain's coming. lovely landscape and light
Taskoni - Tarkovsky's Dream. I'm an admirer of Tarkovsky's polaroids, and this interesting photo has a similar dream-like quality
peon - Village Alpha. For its intensity, colour and lighting, yet it also seems like a snapshot
