Gallery Picks for the week ending November 18, 2013

Gallery Picks for the week ending November 18, 2013

Gallery Picks is an opportunity for you to post a heads up to what you have seen during the past seven days at RFF that you like.
There's no membership requirement, no criteria (except past seven days), no voting, no limit to the number of photos mentioned, and everybody mentioned is a winner.

Anybody can start the thread on a Monday.

Anybody can join in, it's a community event!

But then we end up seeing stuff from the previous week if you start the thread early.
Plus early posters then miss everyone who games the system and posts on Monday the 18th!!

While I really don't think that anyone should be making or enforcing real rules on the weekly, what's to keep folks from posting really old photos or even posting their own? I wanna see new stuff, not stuff I or someone posted 7+ days ago!
After all, wasn't the weekly started in part to get RFFer's looking at new material from the last week in the gallery?
Plus I look forward to thsi thread on Monday morning as soon as I get to work, but get disappointed when I see stuff I've seen before.
I know, I whine too much

I guess he just couldn't wait. ;)

Perhaps some people need the globe explained to them. The west coast of the USA is one of the last major population centres to get the new day. More than 1/2 the globe was on Monday when the OP posted.

Thank you froyd ... very much appreciate the mention. :)
