dan1005. The thumbnail was not revealing, but this is a nice invention.
Rogrund. So subtle.
paulfish4570. A calming almost oriental cast to this image.
dotur. Beautiful subject, and a lovely smile. Lots of gentle curves from top to bottom of the image.
Carole Dame. Great shot. The brooding onlooker.
froyd. This is so good for so many reasons, not just him lugging goggles around on that new 35. The clean planar elements, the sharpness, the contrast, the fine engineering hemmed in by the brute concrete, the lone superman keeping back the wall and the heaving locomotives……..
petronius. Love shadow shots like this.
lynnb. A philosophical shot, tied up in a square format.
SimonSawSunlight. An unlikely conversation almost shaded out completely.
lksmdsn. Love the sharp wet cobblestones and the rest of the textures and light here.
tigerphil. Very, very beautiful.
semirch. The whirling Dervishes. That is a phrase ringing in my ear from a long time ago and here these guys are.
ChrisN. Great exposure choice, and perfect timing. Delicious.
Keith. This is so intimate and redolent of a world we'd like to join. Tarkovsky was invoked here recently and it is not inappropriate now.
hteasley. This is a very fine shot, not just the composition in terms of the graphic elements, but the calm red panel and the dreamy dark panel.

I've got picks this week,
lynnb, This reminds me of a LeRoy Neiman painting, abstract, action, color and just enough detail of the skaters face.
zeroeseight, the Xpan does a nice job of conveying a scene similar to sifi movies of the crowd before the monster.
OurManInTangier, I like the presentation and sequence, fragments of the whole ritual.
dotur, I like how this takes in the whole scene of a space where so much creativity unfolds, and wonderful light and color.
Carole Dame, seen lots of street markets never with a dentist in amongst the other goods being offered up.
Mlehrman, lots going on in this I particularly like the expressions on the two women in the foreground.
Richard G, a lot to like about this shot.
froyd, great tones equal to the composition.

tigerphil; it's the alignment:
photony texas; creeps me out:
carole dame; look how the childrern's head are in a line slashing across the frame:
petronius; the light, always the light:
froyd; it's hard for an architecture shot to get my attention:
georgeh; the mystery:
simonsawsunlight; witty:
keith; what a gentle eye on this one:
guosho; so much going on, so well arranged, so well timed:
