I'm back. I've been busy and have only been able to peek into RFF from time to time, never mind do picks or even post photos.
Having said all that, here are my picks for this week:
ChEc, he's in for 2 this week.
The geometric patterns and the 2 little people that adds scale caught my eye with this one.
Love this! Just goes to show that every photo doesn't need to be sharp.
taylan, the kid pointing and the pose on the guy make this for me.
steve kessel, Gerry looks like he is about to expound on some philosophical truths.
muser53, not sure what the Polaroid Image transfer onto Rives BFK paper is but I like the look it gives the Kodachrome 64.
Tuna, this is a familiar sight in Istanbul, the rabbit picks a paper with your fortune on it.
froyd, great moment of kids being kids.
Walter Leporati, 2 from Walter the week.
This one for the light and action
This one for the composition and the detail and tones of the "shadow people".
paulfish4570, I like the subtle quiet feeing of this, makes me want to be there.

Here are my picks:
Steveh - tree
Simply a beautiful scene and a striking composition. The bird really adds to it.
Walter Leproati - Unisphere on 4th of July
Quite a lot to like about this shot, the lively scene in the foregground, the mist and atmospheric depth, the people under the fountains, the interesting architectural structure in the background, beautiful black and white and well composed.Overall a very vivid image with a slight futuristic touch.
daves - Jazz dancers at Dingwalls, Camden, London
Great timing and nice documentation of the event and the expressivity of the dancer. What I like about the use of the wide angle lens here is the inclusion of some context around the main point of interest, such as the studying looks and the joy in the faces of the attendees.

Couldn't agree more! I'd thought Tim's excellent portraits were more than a week ago so hadn't thought to mention them. Beautiful.

Richard, thank you for the mention. It is an honour to be included in this company. So many good shots again this week, especially the shell building and the ray of light hitting the hat, and Walter's Unisphere series.
I wanted to mention these especially:
filmfan: night walk 1 and 2
ChEc's wonderful composition:
Lynn's nod to Dupain:

Thanks for the mention Richard.
I met Gerry sitting outside a pub last week. As I prepared to take his picture, he straightaway adopted the pose of a world weary movie star of the 40's. A natural performer.

Not so much time on RFF gallery last week push me to choice only one B&W and one color photo, but of course there are many more good ones which I just saw in this thread.
Kiev Ilegalac, Off we go...: the B&W tones, the subject, the perfect moment...
Keith, parallel universes: much more than a photo!
