Great one, full of sentiments. The boy as if it was a professional actor of Hollywood. The whole pose (and I am not saying the scene was posed) is very intelligent in that the viewer actually doesn't need to see the boy's eyes. Great delicacy again !
BTW, the boy reminds me of the one in that Brittish film about the working class boy wanting to be a dancer. Could you folks recall the name of the film ?

Over Exposed
I haven't looked in the "Photo Of The Week..." thread before. You can imagine my suprise to find I've been mentioned in it!
Thanks to Lzr and RayPA for their kind words. I was pleased with both shots.
"Looking Up" was my first diptyc and I must say I like the format and will be trying it again.
"Scaffold & Wall" was another personal favourite. So much so that I intend to have a big print made. I think it's the kind of shot that needs to be big. After posting in the gallery I thought I was alone in liking it. It's nice to see somebody else shares my liking for the colours and the general abstract nature of the scene.
Both were taken with my MF Fuji GS645 - I love this camera. All my best work comes from it. I sometimes wonder why I bother shooting with anything else!
Well since you guys took the time to look at my work, I think it's only fair that I mention my personal faves of the week.
dingadingdang - Tube
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=74872&cat=all&limit=last14
Lovely intimate moment and not without humour. It made me feel good.
Formal - Sisley
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=74988&cat=all&limit=last14
A superb inpromptu portrait of a woman totally occupied in her work
xpanded - Hanged out to dry
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=74913&cat=all&limit=last14
The tones in this are just so nice
nzeeman - Putting on makeup
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=75189&cat=all&limit=last14
Love this, dust and all. It's an intimate moment, but it's rendition and the fact you can't see her face makes it feel like a faded memory.
Robster 180 - Escalator
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=75379&cpage=2&limit=last14#poststart
The high key of the exposure and the blurring nicely render this scene quite abstract. Also the way the leading lines in the perspective sit in the two thirds point all add up to make this shot a cracker.
Mlerhman - Fifth Avenue near 63rd Street, Manhattan
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=75282&cat=all&limit=last14
He saw it, grabbed a camera and POW! What else can I say?
Pixtu - Solstice Dance 002
http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=75310&cat=all&limit=last14
Best of the series IMHO. Well framed and mysterious. It leaves me wanting to know more.

Oooops, What is the man's hand scratching ?
Since I feel constrained from using the words master piece, or sexual organs, what else can I say ? Well I will say that certainly this humoristic image recalls those humoristic ones of the great masters.
This image is outstanding ! Perfectly and originally framed.
