I had my speech ready and I wasn't even nominated!! At least OurManInTangier's shot was my favorite of last week and I was able to quickly recover from the shock and began applauding.
 
steamer: That made me laugh. Thank you. Now you can go home and we'll have an actor in a tux take your place so we still look popular.
 
 
Bike Tourist: I was so impressed with how you handled distortion that urban landscape photo. Everything about it said it needed large format with lens movements, but you did it with a 35mm camera.

To me, the image needed to be perfectly "squared up". I confess to using PS to help. You can only keep the verticals aligned if you accept a mid horizon line, which you don't always want.
