'Gallery Picks' is just a bunch of us giving a heads up to what we have seen during the past seven days at RFF that we like.
There's no membership requirement, no criteria (except past seven days), no voting, no limit to the number of photos we mention, and everybody mentioned is a winner.
Anybody can start the thread on a Monday morning.
Anybody can join in.

A really good photo of nothing.
Even the angle is just right to accentuate the dark bands on the floor and the lowered ceiling.

This is a scan of a page in a high end fashion magazine, right?
A dead classy photo.

Just a quick question here, to avoid confusion. When selecting the "Picks Of The Week" do we include photos submitted on the Monday, or is Sunday the cut-off point?
Thanks,

I've always done it Sunday >> previous Monday.
Correct me if I'm wrong Jon.

I'll start putting photos in my Favorites today (Monday) and mention whatever's there next Monday.
We needn't be too strict with ourselves over dates since it's not yet lunch on Monday here, but it's almost Tuesday in Australia, and the Americans haven't even had Monday breakfast yet.
Do what makes sense for you.

1 If you have the time post your Gallery Picks one by one. Drip, drip, and bump, bump.
2 When you mention a photo think about telling the photographer that their photo has been mentioned. It may engage people who know there's a Gallery but don't know there's a Gallery Picks thread.

A great environmental portrait.
The guy, the team photo, the booze, the rugby ball, and the sports newspaper all work together very well.

Thank you, but it is hardly from this past week.
That photo is about five years old and was what got me back into photography after a long gap.
I picked up a camera for the first time in 20 years or so to enter a competition and was lucky enough to see this scene. And won the competition.
