Gallery Picks for Week Ending Monday 7 January 2008

Yes, CameraQuest said no random photos, and back alley has repeated it several times.
Maybe no random pictures, but a more or less static "pick of the week"? Was anyone opposed to having pictures on the front page on principle? I don't think so, but maybe I overlooked something

Odd for a photography site.
Well, if it's true that Stephen wants no pictures at all on the front page (not only randomly generated ones that incur server load, but none in general), the question is whether this is a photography site at all or rather a gear sit.

But why?

Stephen...?

You are Italian, and you are always late. That's normal for you.

Mmmh ... I cannot reply. I should post my list. But I'm late again ...

... and hoping that you took my last comment (lateness) to you as it was meant friend to friend.

actually I found your joke very funny but, you know, as a respectable hot blooded italian guy I should fly up to Montemor have a fight with you and then get back... but I'm too lazy, so I forgive you for this time ;) :D!
ciao

nico seems to think he needs to fly here. Whereas I know he would be faster in a Fiat. All Italian guys and all Portuguese guys drive Fiats as fast as Ferraris.

:D:D lol :D:D

No, sinetsin, there is a difference between them. Let Nico talk about. I must say, I want them in Napoli, only Napoli

photobizz ... Military Sunrise http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=76512&cat=fav
Unusual perspectice and captures the bleakness of the combat zone.

Pitxu ... Rush Hour http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=76527&cat=fav
Not the style I associate with Pitxu's photography normally ... which makes it all the better.

Claremontphoto ... After The Rain There Comes ... http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=76545&cat=fav
I've come to appreciate these types of pics of Jon's ... at first they mystified me !

Actually Lzr is right, typical "maccaroni" (dried pasta) is from Naple area they're perfect with tomato sauce or "ragù napolatano" sauce, in tuscany we have "maccheroni" (fresh pasta, different recipe and shape from the naple ones) perfect for "ragù bolognese" sauce.
Gnocchi al gorgonzola are typical of the northern italian regions and are completely different (but very tasty too) from maccaroni and maccheroni ...
hope this help, it's lunchtime here!

How say macaroni also say gnocci al gorgonzola...mmmmhh:D

The Claremont Vs Nico Luccano fight make me smile!!;)

saluti!

We are the best of friends.

Next time nico comes to Montemor i'll go with him to Chapa's camera shop. But he still won't buy a camera because it's the only camera shop in the world that does not sell cameras.

Anyway, with his skill nico does not need another camera.

Jon,
now I could really fly in Montemor once again!

Thanks Jon, actually my skills are not that good, in fact I recently bought a camera; I'll share some thoughts about it right after collecting the test rolls (hope today),
ciao e grazie :)
