Here's my picks for the week with a few not from the usual suspects:
jordanstarr, I like the shadows slanting in, that all of the message isn't shown making my fill in the blanks, and the tension of the police car.
aldenfender, overall a good photo that leaves me to make any message I want from the bent over cross.
tj01, I like the stillness and intensity of his eyes amongst the chaotic movement in the rest of the frame. Not quite sure how he managed it.
Alex Krasotkin, I like the composition, controlled tones on backlit couple, and the light shadows in the foreground. It gives a real sense of place.
andres4ndr3s, one word: Devotion.
Keith, Blessings, Enlightenment, and all sorts of terms come to mind about this, could be a modern equivalent to scenes from the Sistine Chapel. Good to see Keith back posting again.
print44, a nice play of light and shadow with the star shape light and the ficus tree on one of the points. An example of the ordinary becoming special to the eye of the beholder.
lem0n, love this and the funny thing is I can't help thinking Frankenstein when I look at it.
Andrius J., just goes to show cat pictures can transcend the ordinary.
tigerphil, a fine graphic that would look good on the wall.
Roscoe, a genuinely strange scene, that backpack she has almost appears as wings, an angelic messenger to the masses.
Mlehrman, one of the usual suspects and his NYC scenes. At times I think he is the invisible man.
Arvay, and a color one from this week, besides the jury-rigged cage or body armor the look from the guy in the camouflage apparel makes the shot. a perfect moment.
Another super week, that's all folks.
