Gallery question

Tried unsuccessfully to upload photos to Gallery, it asks me for the URL😕 What URL do I use. Do I have a number that identifies me?
Any help will be appreciated.

You need to open the file on your computer, where you file the photo you intend to upload, then click on 'open' to add it to the Flickr queue.

Get the Flickr upload tool, You basically drag and drop your pictures to the tool and it uploads it to your account.

When you click on "Gallery" on upper right, from main page, you should see an "upload photos" link, again on upper right. That should take you to a page with a box that says "Select the photos you wish to upload from your computer:" and a series of "Browse" buttons. Are you getting this far? The URL option should be in the lower right pane. You can browse separately instead.

Did finally manage to get one photo through, the main problem I had was
sizing it to the acceptable 350k . Thanks again to all.😎

I generally scan pics for here and Flickr at 100 dpi and no more than 900x600. Usually a size less. It's big enough to see on a monitor and loads quickly.
