As in the band from Madison 😀

We had tickets to last nights show here in Madison and it was a great deal of fun. A small enough place that even my 85/2 should get me at least a keeper or two on the roll of ISO800 Fuji I had along. The ISO400 Fuji after that is less lAlso had a great talk with a pro shooting the even for the band and for the local newspaper. He had a Canon DSLR with an ungodly huge 300/2.8 (!) lens on it. OTOH he mentioned how it was too long for the venue.

It'll be fun to get my film back and see how well the old Jupiter 9 did.

Rock and roll!

Garbage is pretty hard stuff right. We lost our modern rock station here in CT, and the one is RI is now sports talk.

How so you find shooting a Kiev in low light? You probably were shooting the Kiev 5 so that has a brighter finder.

Yes, it was the Kiev 5. I had no problems with it. I considered taking the 4a because it's more compact and I wasn't sure how the band was about photographers, but with all the flashes going off I need not have worried. The 5's bright finder with the 85 lines was really nice in the available light.

They are a fairly hard rock band - one member Butch Vig was the producer of Nirvana's Nevermind album.
