One thought - get a camera that does not depend on a battery!
I think of Winogrand every time I am in a reactive shooting situation. I love his whole thing, of just letting a photograph be what it is, nothing more, nothing less. But a thing onto its self.
lol... your correct of course about the camera and battery.
Intuitive shooting. Where the mind takes a back seat and the heart is at the wheel. Things are happening so fast it's all reactionary. The world is swirling around you on a street corner.

I like that.

I thought it was a Canon 28/3.5 - but I could be wrong. Memories deteriorate over time.
That was indeed a lens that he used, but not in that video. The lens in that video has a square hood.
