The shutter frame is functional, the bottom curtains is pretty much gone.

The overhanging shutter speed dial is one of the best features of the M5. Probably my favorite shutter speed dial out of all the different cameras I've owned/tried.
Nikon FM2n, AI Nikkor 50mm f/1.8S, Hoya Close-Up +4, Ultrafine eXtreme 400, developed in LegacyPro L110 at 1:31 for 5.5 minutes.

It is in working condition and the first roll is developed and waits to be scanned.

This model seems to one of the older ones, because it still has the clamps to hold the back. Later ones did not have this

Um, no pun intended... but it says „Wien“, so it is from Vienna Austria not Germany actually afaik...

That is the seller's badge. KW Dresden was a German maker, hence the "Dresden" part.
