Someone must know the answer to this as I have a number of Voigtlander Bessamatic and Ultramatic cameras but never once have encountered anywhere a body cap made for these cameras. I believe I have rarely seen one for a Kodak Retina Reflex, but not Voigtlander. I have a body cap for a Prominent, which seems so strange one for the Bessamatic series was never made? Was it thought that the lens would never be removed and a body cap might be needed, as there were certainly rear lens caps made for those series of lenses. I have many different cameras and most all have a dedicated body cap made for them and some are quite rare and expensive, but never once have I ever seen one for these cameras? Has anyone else?

Just tried it -- the lens cap won't fit on the body. Just too large.

Oh sorry, I read that too quick. Maybe it's possible to make a body cap out of this: Lens rear part

Kodak Retina DKL-Mount Body Cap by VoFiWG
As Voigtländer and (some) Kodak Retina cameras share similar lens mount it was easy to modify the Voigtländer cap from gotzon555 to fit Kodak Retina IIIS, Reflex S/III/IV.

So it looks like the only caps available are 3d printed? I guess there was nothing original…![]()
