I am trying out the vuescan software with my Microtek Artixscan 120tf and I am getting a double image. I use the multi exposure and scan at 4000dpi. Could it be because I am surfing the web while the picture is scanning? I have Vista 64bit Ultimate with 4 gb ram. I can't use any other software due to the 64bit system. The scanner sounds fine while scanning. Here is an example below.

Hi,
Do you mean $ everywhere in your pictures ? cause that's normal until you pay the software...

No I know I have to pay for the software, I am still testing it out. If you look at the upper right corner part of the trees and the lower left corner by the rock edges you can see the doubling. I can post a blown up section if needed. I have been reading and some people are saying it is due to the multi exposure setting.

Try a single exposure...
(just to check if the issue is due to the multi-exposure)

I won't restate the obvious solution.
I will say that I have used the multi pass scanning option once in using Vuescan for 8-9 years. That particular image has such a long tonal range that it looks flat and boring.

Hi Bob, I know that was rollei atp 35mm developed by dr5. I did use the single scan method and it worked out.
