getting inkjet to darkroom or better quality?

On my Epson r200 I got very interesting results on Ilford glossy paper using epson's black ink [cool looking prints though - too blueish for me] and on Epson Archival matte [Enhanced Matte in the States] with MIS Associates [Inksupply.com] Eboni black ink. Prints done with the latter combination look really incredible under glass. This may or may not work for you, but it's one of those inexpensive experiments. Maciek

I have to second this. I'm using this combo on an Epson 1280. With the MIS ebony on Enhanced Matte I get very neutral toned, beautiful prints. At the suggestion of a photographer friend who is purchasing a print from me, I just did one on Epson Velvet Fine Art using the MIS Eboni ink and it looks really nice as well with a slightly warmer tone.
