Got Canadian pricing from Leo's today:
$769 body (same price as G1 with 14-45mm)
$1059 w/ 20mm 1.7 lens
Not bad considering it can shoot HD video and the G1 can't. I probably won't buy one but I'll surely try it out at the store.

I'm glad a small mom and pop does better pricing than Vistek.

vistek are usually a few bucks more than mcbains, the local shop.

i'd like to play with the camera but i doubt that i will invest in it as i am wholly satisfied with the g1 and have no desire for video.
i am, however, saving for the 20/1.7.
