No-no the camera not me🙄. My daudhter helping a friend of her deceased fathers stuff found an old camera and added it to my collection. It's a Ansco Speedex 4.5 Folder with case(Yeah Me!)This is quite the looker. An internet search yeilded a nice review with some good new user instructions. A zone-focus folder, it displays a great set of lines. The designers envisined a consumer grade offering but apparently missed the mark. It's more much more than that. The review I read stated that in the early fiftys one might cost a buyer two weeks pay! I can only imagiane what my wife would say to a "comsumer grade" price tag like that😱. Next task is to find some affordable 120 film and an inexpencive processor guy. Hey Mods! I looked but if this is in the wrong place just move it if you would, :angel: thanks Red

Congrats. The Speedex is very similar to the Zeiss Ikon Perkeo and the Agfa Isollete both in looks and operation. Assuming the bellows is not leaking and the shutter/focus/aperture are all functional you have yourself a nice piece of history that will provide you with lots of lovely photos! 😀

As far as cheap 120 film goes, if you want B/W, I personally find that Arista EDU Ultra is excellent and cheap. For color, Kodak Ektar 100 is a good affordable color 120 film. I use both of these as well as Portra and expired Velvia and Provia when I shoot regularly.
